Who Qualifies as a Patient
Eligibility is a clinical decision, made by your physician at your consultation.
The Patient must have a diagnosed medical condition that has been approved by the Ministry of Health.
Conventional treatment has not given you enough relief, or its side effects are hard to live with.
You can attend a telehealth consultation and share your medical history and current medications.
A Cura Vida physician confirms, after a full evaluation, that treatment is appropriate for you.
A consultation does not guarantee a recommendation. If your physician determines that you do not qualify, our Refund Policy applies.
Medical Cannabis Telehealth Consultations

Global Availability
Every consultation happens over secure video, so care reaches you anywhere in Costa Rica, from San Jose to Guanacaste, Limon or the Southern Zone, with no travel and no waiting room. Costa Ricans, expats, medical tourists and digital nomads are all cared for the same way, and anyone coming from abroad can complete an initial consultation and follow-ups from any time zone, long before they arrive.

Huli Practice
Huli is a Latin American healthtech company whose software runs the records, scheduling and prescriptions of more than 12,000 medical practices. Under Law 8968 your file is sensitive data: handled only with your consent, never sold, and yours to view or delete on request. It is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and aligned with standards such as HIPAA.

Farmacia Azul
Law 10113 requires your prescription to be issued digitally by a licensed physician and filled at an approved pharmacy. Your specialist issues it from your Huli Practice record during the consultation and sends it electronically to Farmacia Azul, our accredited pharmacy partner in cannabis medicine. Nothing is printed, carried or renewed in person, and you choose counter collection or home delivery.
