Dr. Hanzel Larios serves as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at MEDEC-CR, Costa Rica's premier medical cannabis doctor's association, which he co-founded alongside Dr. Abraham Benavides.
With over 20 years dedicated to the field of medicine, Dr. Larios is a fundamental pillar in the healthcare landscape of Costa Rica. He is the founder of Medi Red Costa Rica, a network of over 10 full-range medical centers across the country offering emergency care, preventive care, and specialized services to patients nationwide.
Under his leadership, Dr. Larios has established himself as an influential leader and pioneer in advancing medical cannabis knowledge and responsible use among healthcare providers in Costa Rica, supporting MEDEC-CR's mission of evidence-based education and improved patient outcomes.
